Kindergarten 2025–2026: It’s Time to Get Ready!

Do you have a child who will turn 5 on or before July 31, 2025? If so, it’s time to start planning for Kindergarten at Westmont Elementary for the 2025–2026 school year!

We’re beginning the process of gathering information on our future kindergarteners, and we can’t wait to meet the newest members of our Westmont family. Kindergarten Round-Up

Our annual Kindergarten Round-Up will take place in late April or early May. The exact date will be announced soon. Round-Up includes two sessions—one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each child will be invited to one of the sessions, and families will receive a letter or email in advance with their assigned time.

Parent Meeting

The evening before Round-Up, we’ll host a parent meeting to walk you through what to expect, answer your questions, and make sure you feel confident and prepared for this exciting transition.

Option Enrollment

Option Enrollment applications are still being accepted! If you live outside of the Springfield Platteview School District but would like your child to attend Westmont, please contact our District Office at (402) 592-1300 for more information and an application.

What You’ll Need

To complete enrollment, families will need to provide:

• A copy of your child’s birth certificate
• Immunization records
• A physical exam dated within six months of the start of school
